Semi-automatic workstations
Two-hand release stations
Pneumatic, hydropneumatic, electric and servo presses are used to build stations with two-hand release. They are activated by means of two buttons coupled with a safety system. Both switches must remain in the release position until the controller takes over the stroke of the punch. Otherwise, press stroke will stop.
Stations with a light curtain
Pneumatic, hydropneumatic, electric and servo presses are used to build stations with a light curtain. The light curtain secures access to the danger zone. The use of such solution improves work ergonomics. The light curtain in combination with the safety module and the PRC controller allows individual configuration of the press release.
Stations with a SmartGate
Pneumatic, hydropneumatic, electric and servo presses are used to build stations with a SmartGate. The movable guard is a protective enclosure with an automatic door. Access to the working area is provided by two transparent, horizontally guided door elements. The key advantages of the movable guard over other safety concepts such as a light curtain or two-hand systems are a significant increase in ergonomics and workflow efficiency by reducing the required safety margins and excellent process space availability.
