CDS Cam Driven Systems

CDS Cam Driven Systems division of Bettinelli spa is a company specialized in the research, development and production of precision mechanical components. They include e.g. indexing gears. They are designed for applications with a wide range of loads, different number of cycles, split angles and shift times. The principle of operation is based on transferring the rotational motion of the drive shaft through the cam system to discontinuous rotational motion of the output shaft or flange. Indexing gears are characterized by simple construction, failure-free operation, good dynamic properties, and high positioning accuracy. The special bearing of the indexing disc allows to transfer significant axial and radial loads, and the applied sealing system enables the unit to operate in any position.
